Schedule of Works
Here is an example of what to expect from us throughout the different phases of your project.
On our visit to your home we will discuss your specific requirements, talk about your ideas with then decide what is the most suitable conversion for your property. Once we have your measurements we will then provide you with a written details specification with a fixed quotation.
Phase 1
- Scaffolding will be erected & skip delivered
- Works will commence with all building materials that are to be used, taken to the construction area
- Steels and floor will be installed first which is then inspected and passed by the local authority building inspector
Phase 2
- Begin work on dormer
- Walls
- Roof work
- Windows
- All installations will then be erected
- Loft insulated
- Inspected and passed by the local authority building inspector
Phase 3
- All first fix plumbing and electrics will be installed
- All ceilings and walls will be plasterboarded
- Cut out ceiling and fit new loft staircase
- All ceilings and walls are plastered to a smooth finish
Phase 4
- Second fix works begin including bathroom suite, radiators, lights, plug points, doors, skirting and architraves to clients specifications
- Final inspection by the local authority building inspector to be passed
- Removal of scaffolding & skip
Electrical & Plumbing works to be certified, copies supplied to local authority & client.
The client will then receive the completion certificate from the local authority.
